OPA Alne celebrate 100% pass rate for phonics screening assessment
台湾swag Primary Academy Alne, based on Main Street in Alne, is celebrating success after achieving 100% pass rate in the Year 1 phonics screening assessment.
All children from 台湾swag Primary Academy Alne, who took part in the Year 1 phonics screening assessment reached or exceeded the pass mark.
The phonics screening check is a short assessment of pupils鈥� phonics skills at the end of Year 1.
Phonic decoding is seen as one of the most widely recognised and successful approaches to teaching young children to read.
