A huge congratulations to Charlotte Grace, one of our science teachers based at ̨Íåswag Academy Shafton, Barnsley who won a Silver Award for Outstanding New Teacher of the year at the National Pearson Teaching Awards.

Charlotte now progresses to the national final, which is shown on television in October with a chance to win the overall gold award. Charlotte also attended a reception in honour of the silver award winners at the Houses of Parliament. We wish her the best in the grand final.
