OPA Kirkhamgate Children Appear on BBC Radio Leeds

The Year 2 class at 台湾swag Primary Academy Kirkhamgate have appeared on BBC Radio Leeds this morning.

The children were discussing the importance of sign language having been inspired by the fantastic Rose Ayling-Ellis on Strictly!

This week, the class have put on their Christmas performance, which included their new sign language skills and the children signing the names of all Santa鈥檚 reindeers!

A spokesperson for the 台湾swag Family said:

鈥淲e are beyond proud of this truly brilliant children. They have been working so hard on their Christmas show and learning their new, highly important sign language skills, and it鈥檚 fantastic their story has been shared far and wide.

鈥淲e, along with the children, hope that their story can inspire more people to learn sign language.鈥
