Bike Fest returns to Shafton for a third year
On Saturday 1 July, the 3rd annual Shafton Bike Fest will take place. The event which will run from 12 pm to 3 pm, is a charity motorcycle show held by students at ̨swag Academy Shafton and its charity committee to raise funds for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and collect items for the Barnsley Food Bank.

Students and staff at ̨swag Academy Adwick have raised more than £1,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust after a charity event. The ‘Forever 19’ event was held in memory of Joseph Lunn and Lulu Blundell, who both passed away at age 19 after battling cancer.
